Everything we do starts with our users. Merchant interviews and user testing provide us the insights and perspective to design experiences that address real world problems for our users.
Simple Answers, Complex Problems
We have many users with disparate needs. We employ “graduated complexity” across our user experiences to empower less sophisticated merchants, and enable more sophisticated ones.
We Speak To Be Understood
Ecommerce is complicated, and the experiences we design for can seem overwhelming. We communicate clearly and plainly in an effort to reduce cognitive load for our users. We take the time to provide clarity, even if it requires an extra click.
Progress Over Perfection
Designing successful experiences depends on learning from our users. We "fail fast”, and embrace incremental improvements that provide maximum value for minimal effort.
Think Bigger
We design for the aspirational and not the constraints. Micro-interactions and moments of delight matter. While our execution may be a phased approach, we aim high and each iteration brings us closer to the ideal state.
