Typography is the voice of a product. The voice of BigCommerce is Source Sans Pro. A clean, straightforward, sans serif typeface.

Typographic Palette

Available from Google Fonts, Source Sans Pro provides us an adaptable, scalable typographic palette. Below are the styles used throughout our product experience.

Capitalization

General guideline
Use sentence case in all places in the product experience:

Capitalize the first word
Capitalize proper nouns (names of people, countries, marketed products, and terms that are always capitalized)
Lowercase everything else

What are proper nouns?
We don't capitalize terms that are widely used industry terms, such as price list or 2-factor authentication. We do capitalize proper nouns, including trademarked names like Google Analytics.
